Shadow minister for domestic violence Jess Phillips has called for better funding and resources for education to prevent violence against women.
She told The Andrew Marr Show: As somebody who is bringing up boys I m not going to sit here and give mothers another reason to be bashed that they re not bringing up their boys properly.
