Over 1,000 cops to guard cattle markets July 4, 2021 LAHORE: CCPO Ghulam Mehmood Dogar has said the police have made foolproof security arrangements for the safety of cattle traders and buyers. He said more than one thousand officers and young men of Lahore police will perform security duties. He said SPs, eight DSPs, 12 SHOs and upper subordinates concerned would be deployed. Cattle markets have been set up at 12 open spaces adjacent to Lahore city. The district government has set up cattle markets at 5 places in Sadr Division, 2 places in City Division, one place in Cantt Division and four places in Model Town Division. ....
