Swampscott community members and organizations can email 150 to 200-word news items for inclusion in the weekly list to wdowd@gannett.com with news in brief in the subject line.   Bent Water Festival  On Saturday, July 31 from 4 to 9 p.m. in partnership with Bent Water Brewing, the town will be holding a day at the beach with live music, Swampscott Yacht Club and beer and hard seltzer from Bent Water Brewing. Musicians include The Kevin Farren Band, The Navigators, and Birdface. The entry fee is $5 and will go toward fundraising for maintaining the historic Swampscott Fish House. The rain date will be Aug. 1.
