FARM COUNTRY: The state’s largest farm and ranch organization got new leadership last week when the Nebraska Farm Bureau elected Mark McHargue of Central City as its new president. McHargue shared his vision for the future at a news conference following the announcement.

After nine years at the helm of the Nebraska Farm Bureau, retiring President Steve Nelson had one more job to do. On Dec. 9, he announced that Mark McHargue of Central City had been elected as president of the state’s largest farm and ranch organization.
