El Camino College (ECC) is a Los Angeles County-based college founded in 1947 that is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). ECC offers two-year programs and serves over 30,000 students every year. The college holds roughly 2,500 classes in 200 programs and awarded roughly 4,000 degrees in 2019.

Law enforcement officials show Sen. John Hoeven an area in Burke County where security has had to be heightened to prevent illegal border crossings.
BOWBELLS – Area law enforcement officials met with Sen. John Hoeven, R-ND, Wednesday to outline challenges of securing the northern border and preventing illegal border crossings.
Hoeven, a member of the Senate Homeland Security Appropriations Committee,reviewed operations along the northern border with Burke County Sheriff Shawn Brien, Divide County Sheriff Zachary Schroeder, Renville County Sheriff Roger Hutchinson and other local law enforcement officials. The officials showed the senator the Short Creek Crossing, an area where the Burke County Sheriff’s office has purchased two game cameras to assist CBP in preventing illegal cros ....

'Columbus Residents Have Lost Faith In Him': Police Chief Demoted In Ohio City a Month After It Saw Two Black Men Killed By Law Enforcement Officers


The blood of Casey Goodson and Andre Hill still stain the city of Columbus, Ohio. Both Black men were killed by law enforcement personnel in two separate high-profile encounters that occurred within weeks of each other in December.
And on Thursday, Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther moved to replace Police Chief Thomas Quinlan, saying he’d lost trust in the top cop’s ability to reform the police agency. Ginther announced that Quinlan, 54, stepped down at his request and said a nationwide search will soon be underway to find his successor. Deputy Chief Mike Woods will serve in an interim role while the city looks for its next permanent police chief. ....
