Now fans of The Railway Children will be able to rediscover the magic with the sequel The Railway Children Return, which begins filming in the UK next week. Actress Jenny Agutter will return as Bobbie Waterbury, the character that propelled her to stardom when she was just 18 years old. Now 68, Jenny s career has gone from strength to strength in the decades since. She has won a BAFTA and an Emmy and for the last nine years has starred in hit BBC drama Call The Midwife as Sister Julienne. ....

Shooting on The Railway Children Return, which is set during World War Two, begins this Monday at key locations from the original film, including Oakworth Station, Haworth, and The Bronte Parsonage. Jenny Agutter The original 1970 movie, which also starred Bernard Cribbins and Sally Thomsett and was based on the E Nesbit book, saw Agutter play the eldest sister in a trio of resourceful children who are forced to move to a small village in Yorkshire with their mother after their father is arrested on mysterious spying charges. ....
