Steve Koch is right there beside them. In addition to some of the grittier work, like framing, hanging drywall and landscaping that he s done in the past, Koch has also drafted volunteers and served as project coordinator for some of the builds. And once again, Koch, a financial planner and partner with Ameriprise Financial Services in Springfield, is providing financial equity to one of Habitat s three construction projects. Koch and his wife, Jodie, are underwriting the entire cost $90,000 for Habitat s spring build which will involve volunteers from a number of area Catholic parishes. Last year, Koch single-handedly financed the build of a home to the tune of $112,000 and contributed about $40,000 to another building that was going on at the same time on the same lot. ....
