Srinagar Artist Arrested For Palestine Graffiti SRINAGAR: Police on Saturday arrested Mudasir Gul, 32, for drawing a painting – the Palestinian flag and a woman, on a bridge in Srinagar’s Padshahi Bhag. “We Are Palestine,” the graffiti read. Mudasir Gul, A Painter’s self-portrait: Gul was arrested by police on May 2021 for graffiti in solidarity with Palestine. Later that day, Mudasir was caught by the police and asked him to rub his painting. Gul defaced the graffiti with patches of black paint and was then let go. The same night, police raided the locality and arrested many other boys, including the artist. ....
