Passing-out parade held

KHAR: The passing-out parade of the Bajaur Scouts was held here on Saturday.
The passing-out parade was held at the headquarters of the Bajaur Scouts in Khar, headquarters of Bajaur district. Sector Commander North Brigadier Chaudhry Azhar Munir was the chief guest on the occasion.
He gave away medals and commendation certificates to the scouts, who showed good performance during the training. Rahmat Khan was awarded for showing the best overall performance in the training. Cadet Abdullah and Akram also received awards. ....

Minor martyred in attack by terrorists based in Afghanistan

Terrorists fired five rockets into border areas of Bajaur district, says ISPR

A five-year-old minor was martyred and seven other children, including a girl, sustained injuries after a group of terrorists based in Afghanistan fired rockets at civilian population in Bajaur district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
“Terrorists fired five rockets from inside Afghanistan in Lagharai sector and Sarakai top, Bajaur. A 5-year-old-minor – resident of Mamund, Bajaur – embraced
Shahadat [martyrdom] while seven minors including a girl got injured, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Thursday.
On Thursday evening, rockets were fired from Afghanistan targeting civilian population in the border areas of Mokha, Ghundai and Gali in Bajaur district. ....
