Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], August 4 (ANI): To enhance employment opportunities for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, the government has been taking vital steps to involve them in the cultivation of aromatic plants in the valley, especially the Pulwama district.
Presently, the harvest season of lavender, rose and other plants are in full swing in the district, and since they have medicinal value, they can create a source of employment for youth.
Considering the same, the government, for the last few years, has been trying its best to create awareness among the youth and to involve them, especially the young entrepreneurs who are interested in the cultivation of aromatic plants. ....

Colchicine drug is gonna undergo a two-arm phase-II clinical trial by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to assess the safety and efficacy of the drug in treating Covid-19.
Colchicine is used for treating gout and related inflammatory conditions. The drug is expected to be an important therapeutic intervention for Covid patients with cardiac co-morbidities.
A number of global studies have confirmed now that cardiac complications during course of Covid-19 infections and post-Covid syndrome are leading to loss of many lives, and it is essential to look for new or repurposed drugs. ....
