The Porcupines suffered their second home defeat in Africa this season after succumbing to a 1-2 defeat against Algerian giants ES Setif at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Kwame Opoku gave the hosts the lead after the interval with the visitors scoring two quick goals through Amoura and Kendouchi to snatch a vital away win for the Black Eagles ahead of the second leg next week.

The head coach for Asante Kotoko, Abdulai Gazale has named the team’s starting eleven to face ES Setif in the CAF Confederations Cup this afternoon.
The Porcupine Warriors will face the side from Algeria today at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg of a tie in the playoff to the group stage of the Confederations Cup.
Ahead of the encounter, Coach Gazale has set his sights on picking a good win to ensure the second leg becomes a mere formality.
He has hence named a strong starting eleven to do the battle for Asante Kotoko against ES Setif. ....

Malian striker Malick Toure led Setif’s attack, which also featured Ahmed Kendouchi and Houssam Eddine Ghacha.
Kotoko started bravely as Christopher Nettey drove a shot which deflected off teammate Emmanuel Gyamfi into the hands of goalkeeper Sofiane Khedairia, Emmanuel Sarkordie fired a shot from outside the box over the bar and Keita hit the roof of the net with a header.
In the 27th minute, Toure made a scoring attempt for Setif but his effort, after being located by Merbah Messala’s in-swinger, went wide.
After Opoku saw a penalty shout ignored by the referee, the striker went knocking again shortly after but goalkeeper Khedairia reacted sharply to tip out the effort for a corner in the 32nd minute. ....
