Joseph Reed was appointed to serve as a park commissioner for the Wayne County Park District by Probate and Juvenile Court Judge Latecia Wiles. Reed replaces Joel Berry, who retired after 11 years of service on the board.
Reed is an associate attorney with the Kropf Wagner Law Firm in Orrville. He is a 2012 graduate of The Ohio State University and Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law.
He resides in Smithville with his wife, Julie.
“I am looking forward to serving on the board and using my expertise and passion to provide the citizens of Wayne County with greater opportunities to learn about and appreciate our county’s natural resources and beauty,” Reed said. ....
