MAN PUNCHED: Battle Creek police were unable to find the suspect after a man, 53, said he was punched in the face on Sunday. Officers were called at 6:09 p.m. to the 100 block of Post Avenue and the man said he was helping someone move. After loading his vehicle he was pulling from a driveway near Lathrop Avenue and Grenville Street when a man accused him of trying to hit him with the vehicle. Police said the man continued to yell at the victim before reaching in the window of the vehicle and punching the victim in the face. A woman with the suspect said he was her child s father but didn t know where he was and denied he had struck the victim.

MIDLAND, Texas A Midland family s home has burned down while trying to stay warm in the bitter cold.
The home, located along Greentree Boulevard, reportedly had no power and the fire place was lit to heat the home.
However, there was reportedly a crack in the fireplace and the flames went through that crack, catching the rest of the home on fire.
