LANZHOU, China, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) Lu Yu once dreamed of becoming a professional basketball player, but those dreams were put on hold after a devastating injury. The 24-year-old trainer now hopes his students can play in professional leagues someday. I want my students to feel the passion of the game as I do, said Lu, a full-time coach at a basketball academy in northwest China s Gansu Province.
Lu has been addicted to the game since the age of 14. As a player, he once dreamed of playing in the Chinese Basketball Association league. But his body couldn t withstand the game he loves.
