An approach to COVID-19 vaccination equity for Black neighborhoods

An approach to COVID-19 vaccination equity for Black neighborhoods
Nationwide, the rollout for the COVID-19 vaccine has been inequitable, with white individuals being vaccinated at higher rates compared to Black individuals. In Philadelphia, only 21% of the vaccine had gone to Black residents by March 2021, even though this group makes up 42% of the city’s population. A retrospective of their efforts on the three initial clinics was published in

Immigrant Peter O'Brien, who always took care of others, dead at 91

As a young man, Peter O’Brien left his home in Northern Ireland to work at the shipyards in the Channel Islands. After immigrating to the U.S.
in the 1950s,
Mr O’Brien would later marry and go on to teach his children, grandchildren and dozens of Irish immigrants how to drive, giving them a sense of freedom in their new country. ....

'Exit Counselors' Strain To Pull Americans Out Of A Web Of False Conspiracies

Listen • 11:20
With disinformation spreading on an unprecedented scale, experts in cult deprogramming are turning their focus to those who have fallen down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories.
Michelle Queen does not consider herself part of QAnon, but she does believe some of its most outlandish conspiracies – including that Satan-worshipping elites in a secret pedophile cabal are killing babies and drinking their blood.

Queen also believes the big lie that the Democrats stole the election from former President Donald Trump, and that the people who broke into the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 were actually undercover members of the left-wing Antifa, even though none of those who ve been charged appears to have any connection with the far-left movement. ....
