Harlem Shake, an iconic casual spot for burgers, shakes
, and more in the heart of Harlem, is expanding through a franchise deal for a second location to open in Brooklyn.
Katz & Associates’ David Yablon represented Harlem Shake through RESOLUT RE’s Sherry Naquin Sanchez and Spencer Bowman in the transaction.
The new 1,200 s/f restaurant (with another 1,200 s/f in basement) will be located at 119 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, and will feature the same modern, dinerlike setting with retro Harlem photos.

Hungry Ghost, Murat Uyaroglu’s growing New York coffee brand known for its charming décor and high-quality coffee and food, is debuting in New York City’s West Village.

Daniel D. DePasquale, director, Katz & Associates, represented Hungry Ghost for a new coffee shop at 315 Bleecker Street, an ideal neighborhood corner.
The new location, which is set to open in spring 2021, is DePasquale’s fourth deal for Hungry Ghost. Caleb Petersen of Newmark represented the landlord.
The new Hungry Ghost on 315 Bleecker Street in Manhattan is 650 s/fplus basement. It has a cast-iron façade with large windows and a brick exterior. The interior design features the original tin ceiling and beautiful tile floors. Hungry Ghost brews Stumptown coffee and serves Serendipitea teas.
