Inspector demoted over misbehaviour with MPA June 29, 2021 PESHAWAR: The Capital City Police authorities on Monday demoted Inspector Ibad Wazir to the rank of sub-inspector for misbehaving with a member of the provincial assembly. According to an order issued by the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Yasir Afridi a departmental inquiry was conducted against Ibad Wazir in which he was found guilty. The order stated that the inquiry officer recommended major punishment to the inspector after which he was demoted to the rank of sub-inspector. The Ibad Wazir who was the Station House Officer of Khazana Police Station faced suspension after he had misbehaved with MPA from Bajaur Ajmal Khan and his gunmen who were personnel of the Bajaur police. ....
