Pickens County, Ga The Pickens Dragons (11-10, 5-8), hosted the Southeast Whitfield Raiders (8-13, 2-11) in a crucial game 1 of a 3-game set. Coming into the series, the Dragons were in 5th place in 7-AAAA. The Raiders, came in 7th in 7-AAAA. The bats for the Dragons came to life and led them to a 14-4 win in 5 innings.
In the top of the 1st, the Raiders got on the board first with a solo home run. Going to the bottom of the 1st, Southeast Whitfield led the Dragons, 1-0.
