The Buckeyes are now 18-15 on the season. Game two of the series will be Saturday afternoon with a 3:05 first pitch. Pohl drove a ball out the opposite way to left to leadoff the fourth inning for his team-high 11 th home run of the season. He has now hit safely in the last 15 games. Todys followed him one batter later with a double up the gap in right to extend his hit-streak a career-high 13 games. Both players added two more hits and each finished with three hits apiece. ....

The Buckeyes slugged 13 hits on their way to a fifth consecutive victory. OSU is now 13-7 on the season and pull even with Michigan for second place in the Big Ten standings. “We’ve got some tough guys that just keep battling,” said Brent Todys. “We’re never going to be the team that just goes away. 1-9 we have guys that can get a big hit. The win improves the Buckeyes to 9-7 on the season while Indiana losses for just the fourth time this year and is now 11-4 overall. Burhenn was coming off his best outing of the season last Friday and he didn’t miss a beat tonight vs. the Hoosiers. He was in control from the start, going six innings, allowing just two runs on three hits while striking out five. He picks up his second win of the season. ....
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State’s pitchers ruled the day as the Buckeye collected 28 strikeouts and limited league-leading Indiana to just two runs in a double-header sweep on Saturday afternoon at Bill Davis Stadium. The Buckeyes (11-7) won game one 6-0 behind a 17-strikeout, complete game shutout from Seth Lonsway. In the night cap, the combo of Jack Neely, Griffan Smith and TJ Brock combined for 11 strikeouts and held IU to just two runs in a 5-2 victory. At the plate, Zach Dezenzo, Mitchell Okuley and Kade Kern each had two hits. Dezenzo’s two hits both were solo home runs in the first inning of each game to get the Buckeyes jump-started. Conner Pohl also had a home run on the day. ....
