Order withdrawn, pets can now enter parks | Noida News

Noida: Pet owners have a reason to rejoice. The Noida Authority has withdrawn its order discouraging residents from taking out their dogs for walks in public parks. In fact, going a step further, the Authority has started blackening out the message on the warning boards that said people should not take their pets inside parks. The decision followed directives from the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI). Pet owners though will have to follow a set of guidelines or face fines, officials said. A group of dog lovers had moved AWBI and submitted the photographs of the boards that the Authority had put up in the wake of confrontation between pet owners and other residents on the rights of the animals.
