Waters will walk the End-to-End challenge from Land’s End to John O’Groats by a circuitous route with just one day off at home in Inverness. Originally hailing from South London, Waters joined the British Army in 1973 at the tender age of 18. He served with the 5th Dragoon Guards, a calvary regiment, for the first five years, then transferred to the Royal Military Police where he served for a further 17 years. ....

Poppyscotland’s new challenge My Poppy Run encourages entrants to double knot their trainers, grab their sweatbands and hit the road, park, or treadmill. Participants are encouraged to pick a route in their local area and can chose to run, jog, or walk any distance of their choosing either solo, in a household bubble, or a socially distanced small group.
