The doors of the old Knightswood Swimming Pool were shut in 2010 PLANS have been unveiled for the transformation of Knightswood’s former swimming pool into a new “intergenerational shared space” for the community. INCH Architecture and Design has been appointed to draw up detailed proposals for the disused and derelict facility in Alderman Road – which closed as a swimming pool more than 11 years ago. The project is being spearheaded by the Knightswood Community charity, which runs the adjacent Knightswood Community Centre – and comes after a community consultation exercisein 2018-19 to try and find out what local residents wanted from the building. ....
