Jets roll to easy win vs. Tigers HOPE The Hauser boys basketball team took charge of Friday night’s boys basketball game against Crothersville right from the opening tip. The Jets led the game from wire to wire to come away with a 67-28 victory over the Tigers. “I like the direction we’re heading in. I thought we did a lot of good things and tried to take away some of their talented kids,” Hauser coach Brent Keck said. “We’re a work in progress, but I think we’re getting better.” Both teams got off a bit of a slow start in the first couple minutes, but once the Jets (3-1) got into a rhythm, they built the cushion necessary to lead 11-2 after the first quarter. Hauser led 23-14 at the half, but then put the game away by outscoring the Tigers (1-2) 26-5 in the third quarter. ....
