Telangana to increase retirement age of Singareni workers, employees to 61 years

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], July 21 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to increase the retirement age of Singareni workers and employees to 61 years.
Telangana Chief Minister Office (CMO) said on Tuesday informed that the CM has instructed Singareni MD Sridhar to decide on the date for the implementation of the new retirement age in the Board meeting to be held on July 26 and announce the same.
Based on the requests made by the Telangana Boggu Ghani Karmika Sangham, Coal Belt area MLAs for enhancement of the retirement age, the CM has taken the decision. With this decision, 43, 899 workers, employees and officers of the Singareni will get benefit. ....

Adilabad: Due to lack of proper medical facilities and vulnerability to life threatening diseases, members of tribal communities in the interior areas of Komaram Bheem Asifabad district are undergoing a harrowing time especially in times of adversities.
Speaking to this correspondent, tribals requested Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao to announce a government medical college in Asifabad district to provide better medical facilities to the poor. It may be mentioned that people of marginalised sections form the majority of the population in the district. ....

Nizamabad (Telangana) [India], February 16 (ANI): With a hope to serve thousands on an hourly basis, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Kavitha Kalvakuntla on Monday inaugurated a free meal centre in Telangana s Nizamabad.
The number of free meal centres grew from 1 to 4 in 4 years and today it brings me immense joy to see the modern kitchen that will be able to serve thousands on an hourly basis. We are ready to serve more and more people from now onwards, Kalvakuntla wrote on her Twitter handle sharing pictures from the inauguration ceremony alongside the tweet. ....
