Will seek India s help if admin fails to cooperate ANI 26 Jul 2021, 07:18 GMT+10 Islamabad [Pakistan], July 26 (ANI): A Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate, whose election camp was dismantled, has said that he would seek India s help if the local administration does not cooperate with him as the Legislative Assembly elections in Pakistan occupied Kashmir has been marred by violence. While speaking to media in Gujranwala on Sunday, Choudhary Muhammad Ismail Gujjar from LA-35 Jammu-2, said his election camp was dismantled despite the presence of police personnel, Geo News reported. The PML-N candidate had warned his party would also cause problems if the polling process did not continue peacefully. The deputy commissioner had asked my polling agents to leave and threatened them, the PML-N candidate said. He had asked the government to take action, otherwise, unrest will ensue and people will die . ....

Islamabad, July 26 Prime Minister Imran Khan s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party is set to form the next government in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) as it emerged as the largest political party in the legislative assembly election in the region which was marred by allegations of irregularities and violence, local media reported, citing unofficial results. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party (PTI) has won 23 seats while Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was second with eight seats and the incumbent Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) secured just six seats, the state-run Radio Pakistan reported. Muslim Conference (MC) and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Party (JKPP) were successful on one seat each. ....
JKLF held protest in front of Pak High Commission ANI 26 Jul 2021, 04:37 GMT+10 London [UK], July 25 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Zone held a protest on Sunday in front of the Pakistani High Commission in London, against the elections conducted in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and demanded independence for the Kashmiri people. About 100 to 150 people demonstrated and called for the boycott of the elections in PoK. Protests were held against the undemocratic and inhumane selection and the interference of Pakistani political parties under Act 74 and the Karachi Agreement. The protestors raised slogans against the Government of Pakistan calling for a boycott of elections in PoK. The protesters were carrying banners saying, Go back Pakistan Army , We boycott the elections , We reject the Fraud Elections in PoK , Free Free Kashmir , We reject the Selection of ISI . ....

Online MUZAFFARABAD: Polling for 45 general seats of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly concluded on Sunday afternoon after several incidents of violence in different constituencies which left two men dead and scores of others, including five policemen, injured. Around 700 candidates were in the fray on behalf of different parties, but main contestants were the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and AJK’s ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). The polling began at 8am and concluded at 5pm with temporary interruptions and suspensions in several areas in the wake of scuffles and armed clashes between political workers. ....
