Fort Concho Resumes Walking Tours as Pandemic Wanes
 
SAN ANGELO, TX – With the expected increase in guest traffic and the recent lessening of some COVID-19 restrictions, Fort Concho will offer special site walking tours March 15-21. Covering both an introduction to the site at the Barracks 1 Visitor Center and up to seven of the site’s display and exhibit buildings, the tours will take about 90 minutes.
Two daily tours will start at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday; the single Sunday tour begins at 2 p.m. There is no extra charge for this service but donations are always welcome at the Barracks 1 Visitor Center, where all tours begin. ....
