PRINEVILLE, Ore. (KTVZ) A Prineville woman was taken to the hospital and cited for DUII-alcohol after a rollover crash along Northeast Ochoco Highway Thursday evening, Crook County sheriff’s deputies said. A juvenile passenger was unhurt.
Sgt. Mitch Madden said Friday that deputies were dispatched around 5:30 p.m.  Thursday to the single-vehicle crash on the Ochoco Highway near Northeast Northshore Trail. Initial reports said two people were trapped in the car.
The 42-year-old woman s car went about 50 feet down an embankment, rolled and struck a tree, Sgt. Mitch Madden said. ....

Rope Used To Rescue DUI Driver

More charges are pending for a Prineville woman who police say was under the influence when her car rolled off the Ochoco Highway, down an embankment and crashed into a tree. A child passenger escaped without injury. Crook County Fire & Rescue rescue crews used a rope to help rescue the driver, 42 year old Kristi Teasdale, from a 50 foot embankment. The crash occurred Thursday around 5:30 pm on NE Ochoco Hwy near NE Northshore Trail in Prineville. Teasdale was cited for DUII with additional charges pending. "During the investigation of the crash, Deputies determined that alcohol and medication were contributing factors in the crash," Sgt. Mitch Madden said. The Crook County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Crook County Fire and Rescue, Oregon State Police, several citizens, and ODOT. ....

The vacated Woodgrain Millwork site is under new ownership and is getting rehabilitated and improved to support future industrial business.
The site has been acquired by Parris Group, an industrial development group that focuses on rehabilitating properties. According to Charles Bauman, Chief Operating Officer, the new ownership believes in grass-roots developments and has named the new venture Prineville Campus, LLC.
The developer specifically bought the property to leverage the previous mill s extensive infrastructure for a large industrial redevelopment campus to benefit the community in bringing back local manufacturing, stimulating economic revitalization and supporting the Prineville local employment market and Crook County rural region. ....
