While convenient, this Baby Boomer waxes nostalgic for the local pharmacies of old that had their own buildings and were family-operated. My family had its prescriptions filled at Campbell Pharmacy, which was located on the corner of East Broadway and Market. Dr. Mike Mitchell was our family physician. In that pre-computer era, Dr. Mitchell just picked up the phone in his office while you were seated there and told Homer Campbell the prescription you needed. ....
