NATIONAL readers have voted for a billboard of Boris Johnson calling Scots a verminous race as their favourite from our new campaign.
The digital billboards have begun appearing across locations in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, highlighting key messages that the Tories would rather you forget.
More than half (51%) of readers voted for the billboard which highlights a poem published by the Prime Minister during his time as editor of The Spectator magazine calling the “Scotch” a verminous race and for Hadrian s wall to be rebuilt to pen them in a ghetto on the other side . ....

The provincial government of Ontario announced measures on April 16th that outdoor activities, including golf, would be shut down. Reasoning behind the move was to stop the movement of people heading to the golf course. The theory being that people from different households would congregate on the course and then possibly continue on to somewhere else. In essence, a lot of movement involving contact with other people. Yet, there was no data to suggest that golf was a dangerous activity. In fact, the Science Advisory Table encouraged people to be outside and deemed golf safe. Under the Reopening Ontario Act Section 7.0.2 golf is illegal, for now. One golf course has decided that the law is beyond idiotic and is flaunting the law. The Bridges of Tillsonburg Golf Club has been open for some time and finally, the OPP, has begun to charge golfers. The club has also been charged and will be in court on June 3 facing potential fines of up to $10 million dollars. ....
