Andoh and Oppong on Trial at Dartford Tuesday, 3rd Aug 2021 22:12 Blues pair Levi Andoh and Colin Oppong are with Dartford on trial with a view to joining the National League South side on loan. Right-back or central defender Andoh and striker Oppong (pictured), regular members of the Town U23s side, were in the Darts team which won 2-0 at Sittingbourne this evening. Andoh, 21, has made one senior appearance for the Blues, in the EFL Trophy at Crawley last season, while 19-year-old Oppong is yet to feature for the first team. Last month, the Town first team beat Dartford 1-0 in their first friendly of pre-season at Princes Park. ....

U23s Confirm Play-Off Place Via Forest Victory Tuesday, 27th Apr 2021 14:58 Town’s U23s confirmed their place in the Professional Development League Two play-offs via a 2-1 defeat of Nottingham Forest at Portman Road with Matt Ward and Tyreece Simpson netting the goals in the first half. The side coached by Kieron Dyer and Terry Butcher are second in the table and now can’t be caught by the teams behind them. The play-offs involve the top two teams in the South and North divisions. Town went closest to opening the scoring in the seventh minute when Levi Andoh’s cross from the right flew far nearer to goal than he intended and almost brushed the outside of the post on its way out of play. ....
Young U23s Side Beaten at Cardiff Tuesday, 2nd Feb 2021 14:58 A young Town U23s side fell to a 4-0 defeat away at Cardiff City this afternoon, Isaak Davies scoring twice and Kieron Evans and Roland Idowu once each for the Welshmen. No senior players were included in the Town U23s, who also have a friendly against Brentford’s B team at Playford Road tomorrow afternoon [which has subsequently been called off]. There is also an in-house game involving first-teamers and also perhaps some of the development squad. It’s likely regular U23s players such as Armando Dobra, Elkan Baggott, Zak Brown and Tyreece Simpson will be involved in those matches. ....
