Share this story Photo Courtesy of the Colorado Rapids The Colorado Rapids have signed 19-year-old Denver native Oliver Larraz to a two-year contract with a club option for two additional years. The midfielder played four seasons with the Rapids Academy and is the 13th Homegrown player in club history. Larraz featured for the Burgundy Boys in a preseason friendly ahead of the 2019 MLS season and also had four appearances with the Duisburg U-19s in the U-19 Bundesliga West in Germany. He participated in several First Team training sessions with the Rapids in 2020 and was named to the 2021 preseason roster as a trialist earlier this week. ....

The Colorado Rapids announced today that the deal with Mexican side Club León to bring goalkeeper William Yarbrough back to Colorado is complete, following his one-year loan in 2020. This is big news for a team that saw great progress last season, in part thanks to Yarbrough. We countdown five of the reasons Rapids fans should look forward to Yarbrough’s return to Colorado.
5(th) – Place Finish With Yarbrough in net for the majority of the matches in 2020, the Rapids finished fifth in the Western Conference, which is the team’s highest finish since the 2016 season.
