A DAD who crossed the Irish sea from Scotland to the Isle of Man on a £5,000 jet ski to see his girlfriend “can’t even swim”, his family revealed today.
Lovesick Dale McLaughlan, 28, had just ten minutes of fuel left when he arrived at the island s Ramsey harbour on Friday afternoon after a bonkers 4.5 hour trip.

The Romeo roofer was jailed on Monday after he admitted arriving unlawfully in breach of Manx Covid rules in a desperate bid to see new girlfriend Jessica Radcliffe.
He will spend four weeks locked up for the stunt - and miss Christmas with his two children in Irvine, North Ayrshire.

THERE have been no Covid-19 outbreaks in restaurants, gastro pubs and cafes since they reopened earlier this month, a new report shows.
More than 70,000 people returned to work in the restaurant and hospitality sector on December 4 after Government lifted Level 5 restrictions.

The latest figures from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre on virus outbreaks show that there were no outbreaks reported in eatery settings since they reopened their doors to customers.

IRELAND S tourism chief has vowed the sector can recover in 2021 from the devastating effects of Covid-19.
Tourism Ireland chief executive Niall Gibbons said after a devastating 2020, with the pandemic causing havoc for the travel and tourism industry across the globe, 2021 will see the restart of international travel.

Mr Gibbons said the organisation has a three-phase plan to restart, rebuild and ultimately redesign demand next year.
It is planning a significant kick-start campaign, which will be launched, possibly around St Patrick s Day 2021, to drive bookings and revenue for tourism businesses.
