Teen in serious condition after fall at abandoned Minneapolis mill
Multiple urban explorers have been hurt at the Fruen Mill.

Someone s been badly hurt in one of Minneapolis abandoned mills the latest in a long series of injuries at the sites.
It happened at Fruen Mill, located just west of downtown on the 300 block of Thomas Ave N.
Fire department officials say a 17-year-old boy fell five stories inside the building just after 10 p.m. on Friday, per MPR.
The station notes that crews had to cut through fencing and plywood and climb down into the mill to rescue him. ....

Body of newborn girl found in plastic box in Batu Pahat alley

BATU PAHAT: The body of a baby girl with her umbilical cord still intact was found inside a plastic box in an alley behind Jalan Kluang here.
Batu Pahat OCPD Asst Comm Ismail Dollah said that the police were notified about the discovery at around 6.40pm on Monday (May 3).
“A member of the public found the plastic box together with the body behind a business premises before notifying the police.
“Initial investigations found that the victim had been left at the location for more than 24 hours as the body had starting to decompose, ” he said here Tuesday (May 4).
ACP Ismail added that checks from CCTV footage in the area recorded a figure, believed to be a man, placing the box at the location last Tuesday (April 27). ....

2,143: According to the Health ministry, there are a total of 2,143 children affected by the epidemic in Northern Uganda with Pader District having 806, Kitgum 544, Lamwo 339, Gulu 58, and Lira with 13 cases.
The patients are unable to defend themselves due to their condition.

At least 144 girls suffering from Nodding Syndrome are allegedly being taken advantage of, and sexually abused.
Information this newspaper has accessed indicates that the girls have given birth to 203 children after they fell victim to defilement, rape, and other forms of sexual harassment in Kitgum District since 2015. ....
