Kizzar Leads Seawright And McCarter In Points Into Saturday s I-75 Raceway UCRA Race In Sweetwater Monday, May 10, 2021 - by Steve Hixson
The United Championship Racing Alliance heads towards I-75 Raceway for the annual Spring-Loaded 604/Crate Late Model event Saturday night for round #3 of the Red Line Synthetic Oil 2021 Championship.
Nearly $10,000 in posted prize monies will be on the line for the 24 starters, that s being headed by Kenny Kizzar (#0) of Soddy Daisy, who has two top 5 finishes already in 2021.
Kizzar is flanked in points by Sam Seawright of Alabama and Mack McCarter of Tennessee, the series first two winners of 2021.
It ll be a whole new ballgame Saturday at I-75 Raceway as new ownership and management has taken over the facility and completely reconfigured the 3/8 s mile clay oval. It s now laid out like a paperclip shape, with higher banking.

New Nonprofit to Advocate for Digital Content in Libraries By Andrew Albanese | Jan 27, 2021 After months of planning, the Library Futures Institute officially launched this week, a new 501c3 organization chartered to fight for a “technology-positive future” for libraries including broader access to e-books and other digital content.
According to a blog post on the group’s site, the Library Futures Institute will seek to “advance a research and programmatic agenda” dedicated to “ensuring that libraries will continue to provide open, non-discriminatory access to information to benefit the general learning, research, and intellectual enrichment of the public.” Among the group s priorities will be to advocate for “less restrictive licensing agreements for e-media and e-books” and for policies and licenses that would enable libraries to continue to fulfill the traditional roles libraries have played in the analog world in the digital space.
