The Belleques â a blend of French Canadian voyageurs, Indigenous tribespeople and European migrants â are significant in the past, present and perhaps the future of Oregonâs church Frank Belleque and Maggie La Deroute were married in 1903 in St. Louis Church on French Prairie.
