The old warhorse Chris Gayle will once again don the colors of West Indies when it takes on Sri Lanka in a T20 International series beginning soon. He has been selected to play under the captaincy of Kieron Pollard. So it is good news for the team from the Caribbean islands and bad news for the team from another island halfway around the world.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Lahore Qalandars have defeated Quetta Gladiators by nine wickets in the fourth match of sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at National Cricket Stadium in Karachi on Monday.
Chasing 179 to win, the Qalandars got off to a brisk start as openers Sohail Akhtar, the Lahore Qalandars captain, and Fakhar made full use of the batting powerplay, scoring at eight runs per over to post 48 for no loss in six overs. Sohail was first to go in the ninth over as he misjudged a googly from Zahid Mahmood. He scored 21 off 26 balls, hitting three boundaries. Before departing, the pair had knitted 64 runs.
