(Tribune File Photo) Despite disappointment at the cancellation of another major event in Caseville, local business owners said they understand the decision to cancel Shanty Days due to the pandemic. Caseville’s Chamber of Commerce announced its decision to cancel Shanty Days on Jan. 21. “Every business has struggled without the usual events, but I feel that the chamber has done the best they could during the pandemic,” said Carrie Sprague, owner of Walt’s Restaurant. “There were less volunteers available due to COVID-19 and to get insurance for the usual events was impossible.” ....
