Lack of amenities forces E S'bhum to change some vaccine centres | Ranchi News

Jamshedpur: After getting a strong feedback of problems faced by a large number of beneficiaries at certain session sites in Jamshedpur, the district administration has decided to shift a few venues. SDM Sandeep Kumar Meena along with officials from the district administration made a spot visit at the centres and took stock of the problems faced by beneficiaries.
Notably, due to the irregular supply of vaccines across the state including Jamshedpur, people anyway faced a lot of problems in availing their doses. And, on top of it, some vaccine centres suffered from inadequate infrastructure.
Sharing her experience, Namita Chattopadhyay (76), an elderly woman who got her second dose of Covishield from Ramjanamnagar centre in the city in the recent past, said: “I had to go to the centre at 8am and wait till 12.15pm to get my dose. All the while I had to wait in the open under the scorching sun.” She added: “Taking pity on my condition, a couple there gave me their umb ....

30-bed facility with three doctors and six nurses to monitor patients round the clock
Mango-based Kerala Public School has become the first school in Jamshedpur to be converted into a Covid care centre equipped with oxygen cylinders.
The school is lying closed for more than a year due to the pandemic.
The 30-bed facility was inaugurated by Banna Gupta, state health minister and MLA from Jamshedpur West constituency, on Sunday evening.
He was accompanied by district civil surgeon A.K. Lal, director of Kerala Public School, Sharad Chandran and special officer of Mango Notified Area Committee, Deepak Sahay. ....
