Board approves contracts, retirements

SIDNEY Retirements and approval of staff for the 2021-22 school year were approved during the Sidney City Schools Board of Education meeting Tuesday night.
Following an executive session at the beginning of the meeting to discuss personnel, the employment of one staff member was pulled out of the personnel matters to be acted upon separately.
The motion to vote on the employment of Jason McLain was made by board President Jason Schaffner. McLain, who is currently the business manager for the district, was on the agenda to be hired as Sidney High School assistant principal and food services director.

HOUSTON The Hardin-Houston Local School District Board of Education will meet Monday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m. in the media center. Items on the agenda include approving monthly financial reports and expenditures for January 2021; adopting the school calendar; and personnel issues.
Minster Board of Education
MINSTER Minster Local School Board of Education will meet Monday, Feb. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the elementary school large group meeting room.
Items on the agenda include reports from administrators, approve the Memorandum of Understanding with the Minster Teachers Association Regarding Leadership Teams;the first reading of the Standards Based Teacher Evaluation Policy; approve personnel recommendations; and an executive session for the purpose of employment and compensation of a public employee and preparing for negotiations.
