(WAFF) - Authorities in Franklin County, TN are investigating a fatal plane crash that happened Sunday night. It happened in the Hickory Ridge area of Keith Springs Mountain around 10 p.m. Deputies say the pilot, Carl Spray, and the passenger, Joseph Mackey were pronounced dead at the scene. According to deputies, Spray was 78 and Mackey was 58. Both men were from Estill Springs, TN. Additional details and cause of the crash are still unknown at this time. ....

Minister Pitt said the decision to send the matter back to the Land Court puts hundreds of job in jeopardy. “This is a classic example of the Queensland approval process allowing activists to use the courts and legal system to delay legitimate resources projects,” Minister Pitt said. “Once again a regional area is in danger of missing out on the jobs and economic boost a project like this will bring because out-of-town and interstate activists know how to use the legal system to support their agenda. ....

Corey Keith Dehaan, aged 36, is wanted on an outstanding warrant for domestic violence related offences. Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command have been conducting inquiries into his whereabouts and are now appealing for public assistance. Dehaan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 180cm to 185cm tall, of medium build with short fair hair and blue eyes. He was last seen on Campbell Street, Parramatta about 7:20am yesterday (Thursday 28 January 2021), and at the time was wearing a blue T-shirt, dark shorts, white sneakers, and had a laceration to the right side of his face. ....
National Museum statement The National Museum paid tribute to its former Council member, the late Maureen Kerridge (Plavsic), who has been awarded an Order of Australia. Ms Kerridge has been made a Member (AM) in the General Division of the Order of Australia for significant service to the television industry, to the arts, and to charitable organisations. Ms Kerridge who sadly passed away in 2020, served on the Council of the National Museum of Australia from 30 May 2016 until 1 May 2020, and was a founding member of the Museum’s Development Committee. Her leadership and extensive business experience, specifically in regard to commercial operations and philanthropy was invaluable to the work of the National Museum of Australia. Maureen was also a generous financial supporter of the Museum and through the Kerridge Family Foundation, she and her husband Keith, contributed to the Encounters Fellowship program as Major Partners. ....
