Scottish company SIlverBullet creates and manages online storefronts and ecommerce support for UK motor groups including Peter Vardy, Richard Hardie, Stephen James and L&L Mercedes. As a result of the partnership, car buyers using the SilverBullet-powered platform are able to find car insurance as part of their buying journey, which includes Honcho’s motor insurance marketplace. Commenting on the partnership, Honcho co-founder and chief commercial officer Frank Speight said: “Connecting our respective platforms to provide car dealers with full insurance functionality, and the opportunity to broaden their proposition and earn incremental revenues, is a win-win for all parties.” ....
Mushroom Group launches new music podcast Hit Different Hit Different, centred around homegrown music and culture. The weekly series will be hosted by Aussie music journalists Mikey Cahill, Sosefina Fuamoli and Marcus Teague. Each episode, released every Monday, will feature stories and one interview with an artist or music industry figure. “[ Hit Different] answers the how and why, charting the impact of evolving music culture events, serving the hottest tea and digging deeper on music stories with an unparalleled, how-the-f k-did-they-get-them raft of guests using the contact books within the team,” a statement read. When I departed Meadow Festival on its last day, the reflections came teeming in and the judgements accumulated. This was day two of Meadow, a music festival that feels very much like the opposite of lockdown. It’s one of the few music festivals to have taken place in Australia over the past 12 months. While the planned dates for industry titan Bluesfest coincided with a local Covid-19 case, leading to a last-minute cancellation, and Falls, Meredith and Golden Plains wait for kinder times, smaller festivals such as Yours and Owls, Boogie and Meadow have pulled off what seems like a series of minor miracles. Signs at Meadow instructed: “No moshing. No crowd surfing. No stage diving. Yes dancing.” Between sets, messages flashed over the stage asking people to be mindful of social distancing, to carry masks at all times and to use them if distancing wasn’t possible. ....
