The Upper Cape Womenâs Coalition Steering Committee has voted to endorse a candidate for the select board in Mashpee. This endorsement is based on a candidate response to questions posed by UCWC members in an online interview and assessment of the candidateâs positions on issues of concern as reported on candidate websites. The members of the Upper Cape Womenâs Coalition are united in endorsing Marie Stone, candidate for a seat on the Mashpee Select Board in the May 8 election. Provincetown Banner Staff DON JAMES NEEDS A KIDNEY: The Somerset resident, and seasonal renter and visitor in Provincetown, is in need of kidney, and a GoFundMe campaign is underway to help: I am officially listed on the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) kidney transplant waiting list at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. I m trying to hang in there and am doing the very best that I can. Problem is that the wait is six years. Dr. Kate Epperly is an ordained pastor who has served congregations in California, Arizona, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. She retired in January after serving 7 years as Minister for Advocacy and Justice for Families and Children of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination. Rev. Dr. Epperly served 3 years as Minister of Christian Union Church in North Truro, served as Coordinator of the Cape Cod Fellowship of Reconciliation, and was active in the Nauset Interfaith Association and its Refugee Support Team.
