GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - South Cape College students are once again protesting against what they call the unfair practice of NSFAS.
Student representative Fezile Tapu says students at TVET Colleges should actually be taken care of, because they produce a greater part of the workforce.
Olwethu Xawuka, the chairman of the SRC, says this is the same issue as last year. According to him there are students who wrote exams in December who have still not received their last allowance money.
The student representatives have now asked for a meeting with the college to talk about the way forward. Xawuka says parents do not have money to send to their children; that is why the allowances and travel money are such a necessity for them.
