Washington, 28 jun (Prensa Latina) La presidenta de la Cámara de Representantes de Estados Unidos, la demócrata Nancy Pelosi, presentó hoy una ley para establecer una comisión que investigará el asalto al Capitolio ocurrido el pasado 6 de enero.
Ese comité analizará los hechos y las causas del ataque e informará recomendaciones para prevenir hechos similares en el futuro, dijo Pelosi, en un comunicado después de presentar la propuesta legislativa.
El pleno de la Cámara Baja deberá votar la iniciativa el próximo miércoles y, de ser aprobada, la líder demócrata podrá nombrar al presidente y a los 13 miembros del grupo investigador.
