Zero daily Covid-19 deaths have been recorded in the UK for the first time since the pandemic began according to the UK government coronavirus dashboard on Tuesday. 
Death figures in the UK have remained in the single digits for the last week with Tuesday marking the first time that no deaths have been recorded since the pandemic began, according to CNN s calculations. 
A further 3,165 cases were recorded in the UK, according to the same data. This marks the seventh consecutive day of more than 3,000 cases being recorded in the UK as scientists warn of a potential third wave of infections.  ....

Fast-growing Swedish oat milk brand Oatly is headed for a splashy New York IPO that will test investor demand for companies that make plant-based foods.
Popular Searches
The company, which produces a milk substitute made from oats, has grown rapidly in recent years. Its signature product is now sold in 60,000 retailers and over 32,000 coffee shops across more than 20 countries.
It announced plans to go public earlier this year and last week confirmed it intends to list on Nasdaq. It expects to price its shares between $15 and $17 each, raising as much as $1.6 billion. Multiple news reports indicate the stock is expected to start trading on Thursday, and analysts say Oatly is targeting a valuation of up to $10 billion. The company did not respond to a request for comment. ....

UNICEF has sent supplies to India but they are not enough, Executive Director Henrietta Fore told CNN’s Richard Quest.
“We are calling on the world to help us,” she said. “And then, because India is such an enormous vaccine manufacturing component of the world s supply chain, we need to get India back into the business of making vaccines for the world.”
She called on countries to lift import and export restrictions related to vaccines, to support the ability to manufacture vaccines in other locations and to consider licensing some production technologies.  ....
