Since its comeback last August, the show has lived up to its name with its mission to not just entertain but also to help Filipinos cope with losing their jobs and find hope amidst the challenges of the pandemic. To date, almost P4 million worth of cash prizes have been given away to nearly 300 contestants of the show. So now, it’s going to happen this year.” In October 2020, she said in a press conference that Bea and John Lloyd were supposed to do a movie shot in Florence, Italy. But because of the pandemic, writer Carmi Raymundo had to revise the story and consider the restrictions. The 2021 omnibus plug for ABS-CBN projects revealed that the Bea-John Lloyd movie is titled No Goodbyes. According to Direk Olive in the presscon held on January 27, ABS-CBN Films has resumed the creative development for the project. ....
According to ABS-CBN Films managing director Olivia Lamasan, the movie will start filming in March. She described the movie as among the “biggest projects of the network in 2021.” “Tuloy iyan,” she added, relating creative development is now ongoing. Production actually planned to start filming last year but it was eventually cancelled due to the pandemic. Olivia also revealed both John Lloyd and Bea are very involved in the project. “It’s exciting that he (John Lloyd) , together with Bea who has gone through the same journey, collaborated on the project that they are going to do. It’s something that excites us. It’s something that excites the writer Carmi Raymundo, and the director Cathy Garcia Molina.” ....

The actress’s film company, TinCan Films, announced this on its social media accounts, revealing some photos of Toni’s scenes in the remake of the movie. “In celebration of its 20th Anniversary, this year we will relive the classic Korean RomCom with its Philippine adaptation,” TinCan said. “On her birthday, we are proud to announce Toni Gonzaga is Philippines’ My Sassy Girl,” it added. ....
