Even if we all long for a week away right now, holidaying with one’s children is a terrible idea.
I don’t mean when they are little and sweet, and wake up at 5am demanding cuddles in bed, or even when they are slightly older, boundlessly curious yet still resisting any food other than pasta and pizza. I mean when they are grown-up.
