Man dies from crash in Brighton – West of the I

From a Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department news release: On May 3rd, 2021, at 2:59 AM, Kenosha County deputies, and Fire/Rescue personnel from the Town of Burlington responded to the 700 block of 312 th Avenue (CTH J) for a serious vehicle crash.  Initial reports indicated that a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck was southbound on 312 th Avenue and failed to negotiate the curve as it approached 7 th Street (CTH BB).  According to the deputies on scene, the Dodge pickup truck left the roadway and crashed into a wooded area along the west side of 312 th Ave just south of 7 th Street.  The Dodge pickup truck had extensive damage to the roof and driver side of the vehicle. The operator and sole occupant of the pickup truck is identified as a 66-year-old man out of Milwaukee, WI.  The operator was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office. Milwaukee man dead after vehicle accident in Kenosha County A 66-year-old Milwaukee man is dead after a single-vehicle accident in northwest Kenosha County Monday. The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department says they got word of the accident just before 3 a.m. on May 3, 2021 on County Highway J (312th Avenue) near County Highway BB (7th Street). When deputies arrived, they found a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck had failed to negotiate a curve as it was heading southbound, causing it to crash into a wooded area along the west side of County Highway J. The vehicle had extensive damage to its roof and driver side of the vehicle.
