Bernhardt equaled the Wolverines on the scoreboard with eight of his own goals and notched two assists, the first of which was his 258th career point to break Matt Rambo’s all-time mark. “That might have been the most quiet eight [goals] and two [assists] I’ve ever seen. [Bernhardt is] just a force on the field, and we’re very grateful he’s on our side,” SSDM Roman Puglise said postgame. ....

With their first-ever conference tournament appearance, the Wolverines picked up their third win of the season via a 15-11 victory over Ohio State in the Big Ten Quarterfinals on Saturday. With every Big Ten team qualifying for the conference tournament this season, Michigan got their first chance to make some noise and did just that. âItâs really exciting because it gave us an opportunity to compete and play our way into the final four.
