CHICAGO - A man has been charged with the murder of a 24-year-old man over Easter weekend in the West Town neighborhood.
Kevin Gentry, 43, was arrested on Wednesday in the 2000 block of West Jackson Boulevard after police positively identified him as the shooter in the April 3 incident, Chicago police say.
Police say Gentry shot the 24-year-old in an alley about 7:25 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Maypole Avenue.

More Middlesex County Homes Could Get Broadband Access


More parts of Middlesex County could get high speed internet access under an agreement being consided by the Middlesex Broadband Authority. The authority’s Kevin Gentry tells the Southside Sentinel they plan to use Dominion Energy’s fiber optic network and All Points Broadband’s handling the last mile to the customer so the authority can enable a gigabit capable broadband network. Plans to deploy a wireless broadband network are now on hold to focus on the fiber optic project.

The $7.2 million, 130-mile project will reach more than 1,200 homes and businesses in Caroline, Mathews, Lancaster and Middlesex counties and will take 18 months to complete.

QUINCY, MA–Atlantic Broadband will partner with state and local officials in Virginia to extend the availability of broadband internet in four rural, coastal Chesapeake Bay counties. 
The $7.2 million, 130-mile project will reach more than 1,200 homes and businesses in Caroline, Mathews, Lancaster and Middlesex counties and will take 18 months to complete. 
The initiative is being funded through a $4.2 million Virginia Telecommunication Initiative (VATI) grant, $1.5 million contributed by the four local counties, and $1.5 million from Atlantic Broadband. VATI is a state-funded program administered by the Department of Housing and Community Development to help local communities expand their telecommunications infrastructure.  ....
